You know what’s so funny to me? I took a photography class in high school and I hated it. It was so boring to me mainly because I didn’t understand it. We were issued a camera to take home with us and go and shoot with it. When we got back to class we would develop our film and to me my photos looked terrible. Now look lol…life be funny like that.

My desire for a camera came from when I first moved to NY as an aspiring stylist and constantly needed a photographer. ALL THE TIME! I didn’t know anyone here to keep asking to shoot me. And I’m so shy, the confidence needed to come through the photo would not have shown at all. The only person who could catch me in raw form was my boyfriend at the time, but I couldn’t keep asking him to do it after the breakup. But to him, thank you so much btw…you know who you are lol.

Fast forward to March 2019, I was preparing for my trip to Amsterdam and Paris and said to myself I need a camera and purchased a used Fujifilm Xe2 and haven’t put it down since. It literally has been an outlet for me, especially during the pandemic. It’s my way of speaking without really speaking when I don’t feel like speaking which is quite often actually lol. Overall I’m so grateful for the response I’ve been getting thus far but I’m still very much a student in the game and have so much more to learn. I have my hands in so many things, I want to use this platform to share with you my journey, thoughts, upcoming events, fashion, my love for food, EVERYTHING! Stay tuned for more posts.
